Need guidelines for PICC line placement

I'd like to get some ideas as to what your vascular access teams/IV teams/VAS use for guidelines, or any paperwork used by them. Small hospital with no VAT. I'm working to get one implemented.
Anything you have would be useful.
Thanks,
Pat

Default Re: Need guidelines for PICC line placement
Pat pat. Please be a bit more specific and I can help you. Would it help you to know the contraindications for placing one b/c the indications are quite extensive. For example, you do not want to place a PICC in anyone with SVC syndrome. Also what specific tools are you looking for....charting help...data collection...work organization tools. I have devised many over the years and can share those with you if you send me a private message so I can E-mail from my work computer.
