hi! does anybody know hospitals that conduct IV training in Manila?

and what's the best training hospital? experience and financial wise? thanks

I've inquired @ National Kidney Institute and the dates Feb.21-23 are not for IV Training but for BLS seminar. You can even search for it in the internet.

Hindi masyadong maganda ang IVT sa martinez. Lecture type lng po kc xa tpos kyo mghhnap ng case nyo. Sbihin nla kokontakin nila kyo kpg may case na, pro malabong mangyare sa dami ng naka-waiting list. So, in short, prang nag-seminar lng kayo about IVT n wlang actual IV insertion. My friend already attended their 3-day IVT kya cnabihan niya ko n wg ng tumuloy don. But the choice is still yours.

hello po i'm a newbie here..i wanted to ask for your help kasi i wantd to undergo this IVT training..pano po ba ang process nun? i mean do i need to go to ANSAP office to submit certain requirements and pay for a fee or directly sa hospital na ko pupunta then dun mag inquire about sa training? please help po thanks! :specs:

first, you have to find an institution that offers IV therapy then undergo the 3-day seminar/training of IVT. the institution will give you a certificate of attendance for that.

second, complete your cases. there is a format. it consists of 6 IV Insertion with fluid incorporation, 6 IV drug administration, and 2 Blood Transfusions. Make sure that the form is signed by the signatories indicated in the form e.g. witness, nursing service director.

third, photocopy your PRC license, Certificate of Attendance, and IVT completed form (the one in the 2nd step). prepare 350 pesos for the fee. +P100 if you want it delivered to your home.

Fourth, submit your requirements to ANSAP either in person or through your training institution.

I saw post in PNA last week that they will conduct IV therapy this coming March 14-15 at PNA Headquarters

the very first thing to do is to find a hospital conducting the ivt training + completion.most of the hospitals I've contacted offered completions.the only time you will go to ANSAP is for submission of cases.you'll be given 6mo. to complete it.there have been many posts about ivt here.just type ivt training in the search engine.

i had my IVT @ dr. fabella memorial hospital. i HIGHLY RECOMMEND their IVT. You will actually undergo the practicums with direct supervision of their well-trained and experienced nurses. The registration as well is very organized. It's a total hassle-free as compared to other institutions wherein you have to stay overnight outside the hospital premises just to be the first in line. Fabella just texted me and informed me about their IVT. Now i am just completing my 6-6-2.

good for u! so, u think there's still available slot for the nxt training..whew..i'll just contact them..it's just so depressing that other institution are not following the time and date of registration..you'll just be surprised it's fully booked na pla a day or two prior to registration date..whew! tnx!
