I may be wrong, but I am assuming the RMA stands for Registered Medical Assistant. I personally did not know that RMA's can get IV certified. When I was a CMA (certified medical assistant) I was not able to be IV certified. I was told that as medical assistants we could not be IV certified (at least in my state). Maybe this is different where you live, I realize each state is different. But if you are IV certified I would think you could work many different places.

Thanks, I live in Atlanta and where I work yes they do allow us to start Iv and I went on line to find it and I had to have letters from my employers to get it. I'm just wondering where I can work once I get it

That is awesome! I did not get to start IV's until I was a nurse. I love starting IV's, I hope to one day become and IV resoursce person at the hospital here. Anyways the very best of luck to you!
