I am trying to find some way to use the previous "Guide" icon somewhere besides my avatar (I'm just a bit sentimental-I like those old labels better, but will settle if I have to). Is there a way where we can add a small pic to our signature?

In any event, I thank you all for trying to accomodate the constant requests we have made. I am going to change my avatar to something else, since mine keeps disappearing...LOL

I would like help finding the RSS feeds. I have unsubbed from some old RSS feed that is still working at
http: //allnurses.com/forums/external.php
since it has has no discernable topic nor decipherable parameters for why threads are included. A site search for "RSS Feeds" leads to an announcement thread with screen shot and link, but the link just redirects to http: //allnurses.com

You know what I miss? I always looked for the blue check mark by my subscribed threads. I miss it dearly.

I just checked in for the first time since the upgrade, and I'm not happy with the changes. It's not cohesive, I find the individual boxes distracting. I don't have the patience to go through this entire thread. I don't like the blue and the shadow underneath is not necessary. I have a laptop and now I only get one post on the screen at a time.

Also I tried to put a smilie in and my entire post disappeared. And the smilie didn't work. The page of smilies goes on forever (it used to be a neat little box).

I used to be able to check the last 24 hours of posts, now I can't even find them.
I watched the video, which is helpful.

Thanks for the feedback. The "Last 24 Hours" link is at the top on the yellow bar, bottom line. It should begin with "Welcome, Mimi2RN".

Actually, the 'last 24 hrs' link is easier to use now. I usually use 'new posts' however.

Is there a way to make it so that "Keep me updated" appears on every page of the thread, as opposed to only the first post? It seems cumbersome to have to go back to the first post to subscribe. A lot of times I don't decide to subscribe until halfway through a thread, so i might make it easier for me (and others!). Thanks!!!

Which brings up another bug. What is "it" as in
Unless a poster quotes to whom s/he's replying, there seems to be no way to thread posts to show to whom a reply was directed. Is there?

Or is this the nature of "quick reply" and cannot be addressed except by poster netiquette or the use of follow-up probes for clarification (like this one)?

No, the posts are always in chronicalical order. So it's always best to quote the person to whom you are talking to. This has always been the case before the upgrade and after.
