    Think it is bad now? You should have been here last Saturday!!!! The admins have tweaked it so that it's much more user-friendly. Do what I did... Give it a week. :wink2:

    No comment about not being able to search the last 24 hrs if you aren't a logged-in member?

    I'm trying to be constructive. . .

    This almost seems by design because now the "last 24 hr" link is on a line that doesn't appear until you sign in. Can I ask why? I think this makes the site much more difficult to navigate for new people that aren't yet members.

    (Not to mention, more difficult for me to peek in at work where it's not good work netiquette to log in. I can't be the only member that doesn't log in at work - yet still peeks to see what they're missing . . .)

    its too busy in my opinion. While I am able to maneuver without problem, I prefer a more simple interface. Seeing the various topics available through the monthly newsletter was nice, but this layout is just *too* much going on for me. I, too, will probably spend less time, just because of the cluttered screen.

    My first reaction? Bummer. Not because it's new but because the old one felt homey and this one feels cold, like they just updated it to look nice. Like updating your kitchen because HGTV says you need to and then no one comes in the kitchen to eat anymore. Change is not always necessary. Don't like it. I'll still use it, but I don't like it.

    There are a couple of things with the PM system that are different. When I click on the notification for a new PM it takes me to my PM inbox instead of directly to the particular PM. That means an extra click. Another thing is there's this new message verification thing. It's not necessary. If someone responds to my PM that should be verification enough. If they chose not to respond, then that's fine too, but why the extra verification thingie?

    This is not a new feature.

    I see it as just common courtesy. I utilize the read request verification as some members choose not to reply to an important message, but clicking the read receipt let's me know they actually read the message and I no longer have to be concerned about the issue.

    Well, for me anyway. I have no info below Brian's name for the first post of this thread, all the following posts have the user identity stats, etc. If I click Brian's name, the the info is there. But you have to do it for each new post that you are reading if you want to find the info on the person who started the post.
