The shot itself was not out of the ordinary and not painful, but I am still unable to work out at the gym. When does this turn into a problem?

Is there any redness, warmth, or swelling? What does the site itself look like? Sometimes the less the arm is used, the more sore it feels. Is it possible that you tensed up your arm when you got the injection? It could have created a bruise. Those take awhile to heal. But, you should check with your MD.
Good luck. A
