Any ideas on a good way to preapre tape for a peripheral IV insertion, rather than sticking it on the siderails, bedside table etc???

Default Re: tape
If you can have some one assist you have then tear the tape for you, if not maybe have the patient hold it if they are allert and able it may take their mind off the whole having a IV put in thing and you won't risk picking something up on the bedside table or bedrail that you may not want.
