- by PhilGN Apr 5, '08I'm starting nursing school, and I was reading a few things about infectious disease nursing, and I was wondering how one gets into it. The forum here says that infectious disease nurses are clinical nurse specialists, but the only graduate program in infectious disease nursing I found was from the University of Washington, and it was an NP program, not a CNS program. Do you get MPHs or is it mostly on the job training?
