I learned about this program while searching online however I have only been given very vague information and would love to here about the program from those who have attended, plan to attend, or have information on this program. Can you share what you know about this program?

1. Is this a good reliable program?

2. How does this program operate? (How are the classes set up)

ISU doesn't have stellar NCLEX pass rates but they aren't the worst in Indiana and they are improving every year.

All the classes are online. The clinicals are at your local hospitals. I believe that ISU finds your receptors for your clinicals. It is an accredited program, but they have a few states that they need to get the BON to accept the program for the state boards.

Last yeear ISU was caught lying to the Calif BRN and was running an illegal LVN to BSN program in Callifornia from 2007 to 2012. When the information became known, ISU lied to the board and branded the students who complained about the program as inept, incompetent, etc. The truth is: ISU is not honest and covers up its mistakes. Do you want to get involved with this type of program. Read the posts about the LVN to BSN program in California here on AN for evidence about the ISU program. The decision is yours but be informed beffore you make it.

How do I find out if GA BON accepts this program? Trying to get a person on the phone at GA BON is next to impossible, and I cannot locate this on the website. Thank you!

I am a recent graduate (2012) of the LPN-BSN program at ISU. I have nothing but praise for the program. I am from Wisconsin! I have no idea what happened in California. You must be a well organized, self-sufficient person to be able to articipate and graduate from a program such as this. You find your own preceptors and clinical sites. Perhaps because I had been an LPN for 20 years afforded me the experience necessary to do well in a program such as this. Once again...I have nothing but praise for ISU's LPN-BSN Program!

I would be VERY cautious in beleiving any thing ISU promised after their California mess up where 141 students were left high and dry.

Just about everything they did here was a lie! Mislead students and the BRN then just left town and a mess where students are at risk and on their own.
