ok so now its september 2012 are they NLNAC or CCNE accredited now atleast at the fortwayne indiana campus I went and applied and am schedualed to take my hessi on tuesday a week from from today after looking through this teeter toter of comments I am soooooo nurvouse now. I dont want to wait forever to get in at ivy tech and ipfw is judt not me right now. I dont have an SAT score or an ACT to even get in at IPFW im in at ivytech i can sign up for classes at any time now but not there nursing program
As a graduate of the second class of ITT Indianapolis, the first ITT RN program I can tell 100% they do not have NLNAC accreditation. All of their programs are still accredited by their respective state they are in and can therefore still enroll and teach, but you will have a hard time finding work in Indiana if you graduate from there. The state recently updated their Nursing Program Lists http://www.in.gov/pla/files/Schools_...of_Nursing.pdf
The list is updated and provides a list of your available options for your city. I would probably check out a school that has current accreditation, but the choice is yours! Also check out the accreditations website as to which school has the accreditation.
