Please explain the Ivy Tech alternates into a program

Okay, I understand that being an alternate for the ASN program means that if soemone declines or drops out then you will be offered the spot(depending on the # you are).
Here's my problem. What if you got accpeted to another campus to the PN? Are you able to accept the PN, and accept the Alternate too?
I accepted both, thinking that if I never got the alternate call, then I am safe for the PN spot still. Someone told me that he was heard you can't do that, you have to chose only one. I'm hoping someone on here knows alittle more about it.

You can accept both. Campuses do not cross reference applications or acceptances. Accepting the PN spot while you wait to hear about the ASN spot makes sense to me. Good luck!!

Thanks bloomgirl118, when someone told me I couldn't do that.. I freaked thinking I would lose both spots. I did get the call & now have the ASN spot, so all is goooooooood
