I am from West Lafayette. Left in 1986, went into the Navy. I have been on Long Island NY for almost 14 years now, people will still say 'where are you from?' People know I'm not a New Yorker, even after all this time. I miss the mid west. I went to Purdue after high school, but didn't know what I wanted to do. I finally know, start an RN program in Sept.
