    Does anyone know where I can take some classes to become a CNA?:hatparty: Somewhere close to Merrillville Indiana. I surfed around on the internet and looked through the phone book, but I can't find much.

    Call the nursing homes in your area. The other option is Ivy Tech State College - class costs around 350 with book, tuition and tech fees, plus uniform and shoes of your choice. The Nursing homes in my area only train welfare recipients through state grants. But maybe you will have better luck on a free source. I plan on the Ivy tech route.
