by JRenihan Nov 17, '11I am a recent graduate and looking for jobs. I would really like to start in a hospital, but am keeping my options open for long-term care, rehab facilites, and home care. Just wanted to see from other LPNs/RNs what companies you would recommend or not recommend looking into. I live in the Indianapolis area, so responses for facilities around this area are appreciated. Thank you!

- Mar 1, '12 by EasgaskinsI was an aide at University Heights Health and Living Community, a long term care facility, for 2 years. It was the only place I worked while I lived in Indy, but I haven't been there in 3 years now. I hope that you find a place that makes you feel appreciated. I did when I was there, and I miss it. Good luck.

You can also go to job boards of different facilities, and if the facility has a job opening for an extended length of time...Don't go there. In other words, if the place is hiring for a number of positions, it is not a place you will be happy with. The good facilities have excellent nurse and other nursing staff retention rates.
