anyone currently in Ivy Tech's ASN program know about CNA getting out of clinicals

  1. 0 HelloI'm getting ready to apply to the ASN program in a few weeks. I picked up one of my applications and on it it says if you are a CNA attach a copy of your license and employee verification letter. I heard rumors but I wasn't sure if having a CNA license qualifies you from having to do 1st semester nursing school clinicals?! If not, what are benefits of having that and why do they want you to submit that information?

The only thing having your CNA license gets you out of is Fundamentals Lab. You will still have to do clinicals first semester.
