I have taken it twice so far. The first time I got an 84 and the second a 79. Each time I had a different version of the test. The science is way too specific, just brush up on overall science (life, earth, chemistry, and human body). The math pretty much stops at basic algebra. I took the test a second time to try to raise my score, but I am not sure I will take it again because it is so stressful. The test is over 3 hours and no breaks. The English and Reading are pretty easy but Sceince is what kicks everyone's butt. The first test I got 67 on Science and after that I studied the science in the teas book and raised the Science to 73 but in the process I lowered my English. Good luck and take your time, except for Math because they do not give you enough.

Hi Dont stress too much about it. I did buy the study guide for the teas and spent some time the few days before I took it going over the main ideas. I got a 90 all around, I dont remember my exact scores but I know the science was my lowest. Im starting the asn program in August. I do remember that there was only a couple of questions on the teas regarding anatomy. The one I had was a picture of the inside of the stomach and it asked something about insulin.
you had to click on the pancreas. I know that I got 100% on the anatomy part, but the chemistry parts kicked my butt. Also they threw in some stuff about rocks, magma etc???????? I just went A B C D on those ones... Well GOOD LUCK and let us know how you do!!!!

Unhappy Re: TEAS Test--Study Buddy
hi everyone! i'll be taking the teas test on the 12th and i wanted to know if they have any geometry or physics questions. i read some other posts and some said physics was involved, but it wasn't included in the study guide. i'm trying not to freak out, but i am. oh, and do we really have to know things like predicate, independent sentence and things like that for the english section because it was part of the study guide. i know it's basic elementary stuff, but honestly, i forgot all about it. i know, embarrassing...

I just took the TEAS twice. I specifically remember questions on momentum, force, and velocity for physics, but only a couple. I believe there was one geometry question.

I hope that helps.

I took the TEAS quite some time ago and scored low on the reading portion of all things. I think that I have gotten slower at reading as I have grown older. I know my thought process is slowing too. Maybe it is just the stress, I don't know. When I went back to schedule my TEAS testing they said that they had no record of me taking it before? I am not sure what to do when I schedule it again...? I am studying the book. I hate to drive all the way to the campus and not be able to take the test. I guess I will call the number in the TEAS book and see if they have record. Good luck to you all! It's just a silly o'l test!:0)

Of all things I scored low on the reading portion. I think that my eyes track slowly or somthing plus I get nervous and have to re-read. This is slowing me way down. I need to find a reading program or somthing.

I will be taking the TEAS test in the next month or so. I see that some of you have recommended the official study guide from ATI. I have also seen a study guide from Morrison Media -- "Secrets of the TEAS Exam". Has anyone used this study guide and if so, was it helpful? Can't decide which one to buy. Thanks!
