Ivy Tech Indy Acceptance Letter


Hello. I just got an acceptance letter from Ivy Tech Indianapolis. I was just wondering if anyone else out there got one? Would like to talk and maybe make friends. FYI, I got all As and an 88 TEAS.

Hi Eric!
I just received mine too!! I got the same grades and TEAS score as you did. Congrats! I guess we will be classmates! See ya at orientation!

Hey, I am pretty sure that you can work as a CNA after the first semester. Is anyone already a CNA and if so, how is the pay? Do you like the work? Where do you work?

You guys are so lucky. I wish Bloomington would hurry up and get their letters sent. By the way, after the first semester of nursing school, you can take the certification test for CNA and get to work. Also, a lot of hospitals have positions for Nurse-Intern. That's for after the first semester also, but you don't have to take the CNA exam.

I wish you luck. Please keep us informed. I read about student intern positions through some of the hospitals in Indy. That sounds like an awesome opportunity. I have a friend who was hired for the summer as an intern at a doctor's office. I don't know how much the hospitals pay, but she was paid $12 an hour.

Congatulations everyone! I am hoping to get a letter any day now for the Valparaiso Ivy Tech RN program. I called the campus last week and they said that they were hoping to send the letters out this week but that they have until the 30th to get the letters out. I hope I get mine today.

I have read a lot of your posts, you and I sound a lot alike! I am at an Ivy Tech near you - I just got accepted today into the Spring '08 RN program! Let me know if you get in! I would love to talk!

I just got my letter yesterday. I have been accepted to the Valpo campus RN program for Spring 08. I am so excited! It is a good thing I got the letter yesterday - I don't think I could have waited much longer - I was starting to worry that I wasn't going to get in. I am so happy now.
