Gary Ivy Tech Nursing Student

I'm a nursing student at the Gary Ivy Tech, and I would love some feed back on the Pharm. course and if any one has passed this course, how they did it. I took it last semester and dropped it in fear of not passing. Now It's creeping back up on me in the next couple weeks. HELP!!!!

At first I was in the same boat as you are-thought that I would not pass the course. The first couple of weeks were very trying as we had 3 different instructors with 3 different teaching styles (Fort Wayne campus). After the 3rd teacher settled in (she had never taught Pharm before) and thought that we would take advantage of her being that she was new. However she became a delight and made the class interesting as it could be. I passed with a B. Do not set your sites on getting A's as you were probably accustomed to (getting into the nursing program you probably had all A's) now is an entirely different ballgame. Categorize your drugs and make memory card (flash cards)-equate the name of the drug with something you are familar with. Then just memorize!!!!
