Any improvement?

Has anyone noticed any improvement in their area in regards to staffing? I live in Northern IN, and hiring here is pretty stiff. You have 100+ applying for the same positions due to so few being open. The hospitals still aren't hiring LPNs either. Luckily it seems as if the layoff spells maybe over. So maybe it is a sign of better things to come?
