- Apr 3 by nteumerI'm in my last semester there in the BSN program; is there anything in particular that you're interested in finding out?
- Apr 3 by PurplePRNQuote from nteumerYes, please. Do you know what the graduation rate is? Is it more than half? And do you feel that the main goal of the staff is to support and educate, or to try to stress, discourage and eliminate you? Thanks!I'm in my last semester there in the BSN program; is there anything in particular that you're interested in finding out?
- Apr 4 by ivolhaHello. I am accepted in Fall 2013 BSN program. I would like to know little bit more about the program as well. Thank you.
- Apr 7 by nteumerI'm not sure what the graduation rate is, but I know that last year's first try NCLEX pass rate was either 96% or 98%. For my own nursing class, I think we've lost maybe 4 or 5 people due to grade issues. Some people, once they start the clinical portion of the program, decide it's just not for them and switch majors. As far as the teachers and clinical instructors, there's no one that I've had that is 'out to get you.' Everyone will answer questions and you can usually set up individual appointment times to go over tests until you get to 460, which is the last semester. They only let us do a test review as a class the week after the exam. There's also really great nursing tutors who can help you out if you fall behind in something. All my clinical instructors have been amazing. Yes, some are harder on you than others and by that I mean that they drill you more with questions, but honestly, I feel more prepared having had those instructors compared to others who didn't. I love USF's nursing program and all the teachers!
