    Hey, just wanted to respond to your thread I and say ive been wait listed. I got an email saturday morning. Any news for you?

    Sorry about being wait listed. I've read a few posts on this web site where people have been wait listed and eventually got in due to somebody dropping or was unable to finish all needed requirements. So there is hope. I did get in fortunately and I hope everything works out and u do too.

    I'm trying to be optimistic.... To be honest I'm surprised I even got waitlisted. My GPA wasnt too hot but I do have a lot of life experience and my essays were top notch. I did read one post that said on average they get about 1/3 of the way down the waitlist. We'll see! Hope for the best!

    I am a current BSN junior at UIC. I know waiting sucks I would check my mail/ e-mail every day for WEEKS, but if anyone has any questions about the program/ what to expect their junior year let me know!

    I got put on the waiting list also it sucks because i'm so impatient. i guess i still have some hope though..

    just wondering, but what other nursing programs did everyone also apply to besides UIC?

    I am currently registered to start nursing school in the fall at Aurora University. I've heard a lot of great things about their nursing program but I'm really hoping I get that call or email from UIC. what about you me-ah, have you applied anywhere else?

    I applied to NIU and elmhurst too. unfortunately i got denied from NIU. so i'm hoping i get a call soon from UIC too. hopefully soon *crosses fingers*

    Just like most of you I am being wait listed as well.

    J.black....you said you read a post which says they choose 1/3 students from the wait list ...i was wondering where is that post? i never found any such posts on the UIC's page. Tx
