by Mila2013 Mar 4Hello Everyone!
My name is Mila and am I hoping to attend the HCC Tampa nursing program. I have not seen any threads on the fall 2013 Nursing program, therefore I wanted to start one. I am anxiously waiting for a reply from the admission’s department. Has anyone heard anything? Does anyone know if they will send an email as well as an acceptance letter? I am freaking out a little bit, I want to get in ASAP and I hoping my 3.8 GPA will get my in on my first try! Thank you everybody!!

- Mar 4 by SwimbeaverHi Mila, from what I've seen on the past roll calls letters were sent out via USPS letting people know whether they were accepted or put on an alternate list. I'll tell you that as long as you don't roll on E or have some secret felony in your past you will get in without a doubt with your 3.8. I have a 3.7 and I'm not worried at all. Last semester as low as a 3.3 got in. From what I read people received letters mid March. What campus is your #1 choice?

Hello There,
Thank you for your reply! Fortunately, I have not rolled an E neither I have committed any felonies = ) so I should be ok! The only thing is that I keep on reading stories on how disorganized HCC is. I am always thinking that they will lose my application, not send my letter and etc. I guess the bottom line is that I am a bit paranoid!
Another problem is that I am out of the country and won’t be able to check my mail until mid March, and I heard you have two weeks to accept the position. So, I wanted to check if anybody received their letter, also do you know if the UPS guy makes you sign in order to hand you the letter? Or will the USPS guy just drop it off?
To answer your question, my first choice is Del Mabry in the morning, what is your first choice? Lastly, please let me know when you receive your letter, at least it will give me a good idea when I will be receiving mine!
Thank you again ^_^ - Mar 5 by SwimbeaverUSPS is the normal snail mail. So you will not have to sign for it. I will definitely post here when I get my letter. I think I put Dale Mabry afternoon as my first choice, HCC is a bit disorganized but they get better at it each semester. As long as your HCC web registration account reflects that you have everything turned in and (Received) then just be patient through the process. You will get in
