- Jun 30, '08 by rndream8931I'm just doing my research right now. I'm tired of waiting. Want to have an idea what the best private LPN program out there. I have a friend is doing the same thing. She does not want to wait either. She's going to Americare's info session. And I'd like to check out PCCTI in Oakbrook. She and I are going to share our research together. Just wondering how much the tuition is at Omega? Does anyone know?

- Aug 26, '09 by nursingbound75Actually its closer to 21,000 with all courses. Nursing courses alone are about 17,000. Last I knew they had no financial aid available so prepare yourself prior to starting. I didn't and was unable to complete courses due to expenses. Courses do not transfer.
- Aug 14, '10 by natkoz82I recently went in to ask questions about there LPN program, it seems a little off and disorganized. Class schedules are never regular, they don't really offer any morning sessions and many if not most of the instructors have very heavy accents and don't fully understand what you are asking. The pre courses are very expensive that is why I am taking them at a community college and theyre courses do NOT transfer to any other instituion, I think this holds true for most of the private LPN programs here in Illinois, most are not accredited. It's about 18,000 for the program and about 5k for the pre-reqs.
