by pandorasbox Jun 3, '10Hello, I'm starting the nursing program at OCC this coming fall. Does anyone know which books will be used in NUR103 and NUR104? I went to the bookstore and they sell 30lbs worth of books for $600???? Do you recommend that I buy the bundle or try to buy each book individually? I would like to peruse the textbooks before classes start so I don't feel overwhelmed. Any information and/or suggestions anyone???
Thanks!!!

I have let so much time elapse without saying THANK YOU for posting the book list!!! I suppose better late than never, huh?
I really do appreciate you taking the time to post.
I am now totally freaking out about starting nursing school. Sometimes I think, "oh oh!! what I have done????"
I heard there were about 35 students that failed NUR104 last semester???? not sure how true that is, but it's giving me nightmares!!!

- Nov 27, '10 by kgh31386I see that your only 2 posts on this site are offering people test bank questions. Keep in mind that people usually don't want to cheat. Not only that, how embarrassing would it be that you give them these test banks...and their teachers use completely different questions, causing them to fail? Not only that, teachers can tell if someone uses a test bank, it's not hard. This isn't the place to solicite test banks with the intentions of cheating or not having to work.

are you referring to my advise to somebody who who was just trying to be ahead? can you read my posts again and please can you point out exactly where i was offering these "test bank" questions. if you were referring to those chapter readings, those were provided by our teacher to us even before we started our class so we can do our reading assignments in advance so we can come prepared once classes started.

lol i was not referring to your post actually. it wouldn't let me put the other poster's name in my post and their post(and account) have been deleted. because their only 2 posts on here were offering people test bank's and claiming they know where to get test questions from. you only had 1 post haha. sorry for the confusion or misunderstanding. your post was really good and helpful hahaLast edit by kgh31386 on Nov 28, '10 -
- Aug 23, '11 by omonhpyThey split up the books and only gave the list for 103 but I got all mine on amazon for much cheapter than at Oakton. Do you have any advice for the tests in 103? Everybody is getting so stressed out about testing and since there are so few tests you really have to do well all the time. Are there any teachers to avoid for the later classes? Do you know if you stay with the same section you have for 103, 104 for the rest of the classes? I hope not.
Thanks for all your help.
