by ddl77 Feb 10Just starting a thread for applicants to Loyola's Accelerated BSN program this fall. I applied in January but have been waiting for my last recommendation letter to be submitted for a few weeks, which will hopefully be done by the end of this week. I am wondering how quickly responses are sent out once they review your complete application and I'm also curious to know how they decide who to admit since it's rolling admissions- they can't really compare an entire applicant pool at once this way.

- Feb 13 by schern4Hi.
I applied for Fall as well. My application is now complete. I read on another thread from last year that one applicant received her decision 2 weeks after her application was complete. The rolling admissions makes me nervous because they have apparently been reviewing applications since January and they only accept around 60 people I heard. - Feb 13 by ddl77Same here. I'm curious how the rolling admissions works at Loyola. Since they don't really have a complete applicant pool to consider at one time, they can't compare candidates against one another to decide who to admit. Hopefully that's a good thing for everyone who applies early in the app cycle. I actually applied in January but unfortunately my last recommendation letter was just submitted yesterday so it will be a while before a decision is made. After reading some threads from last year, it did seem to take until the end of April to get the cohort filled and wait list started, but surprised because at other schools I'm applying to there are like 300-500 people who apply each time.

I am awaiting a decision from them too.Just starting a thread for applicants to Loyola's Accelerated BSN program this fall. - Feb 13 by ddl77I live out of state so a bunch of public universities in Florida. I'm on the fence about Resurrection University in Chicago too. It's accredited by CCNE and has good NCLEX pass rates but I'm a bit suspicious that they have guaranteed admissions to their BSN program but the minimum stats for it is quite low.

I'm crossing my fingers there's still plenty of seats in the cohort left.Same here. I'm curious how the rolling admissions works at Loyola.
