- Apr 6, '12 by joanie2341I think the theory sections (2 times per week) are technically optional. Those are the lectures. I'm sure the instructor can work with you on getting the information from that class.
But clinical is mandatory. You may be able to miss a day if you speak with your instructor ahead of time. But it's not easy to make up a clinical day.
Also if you're not a licensed CNA, you have to take NURS140 1st semester. That's also twice per week.
I would definitely approach the teachers during the first week of school to discuss this.
