I give myself a quick quiz on the assigned chapters in UPrep / Craven before reading as a pretest. It helps me see the focus of the material in advance and to budget my time for more difficult chapters. Then I skim the PowerPoint for the chapter, then I do the reading. For me, it speeds up the reading a lot to know the key points in advance.

The Craven book is a little wordy so I take steps to see the focus before reading, which helps me save time and retain the material a little better.

Read all craven and do craven online (upass) questions. then move on to hogan. if you have time do the rest of readings.
