HI!!!!!! :) I'm gonna start taking some prereqs in the summer and just wanted to get some insight from anyone that's taking classes there or has graduated already.

I took some of my prereqs at Truman before transferring to Chamberlain. What do you want to know? What classes do you need to take?

math 188, english 101, bio 121 and chem 121. I might just take the math and the bio in the summer and then the english and chem. I was thinking about transferring to chamberlain as well but it's so expensive. How were the classes? Are the teachers helpful. I KNOW I'm gonna need tutoring in math. Have you used their tutoring services?

Bio 121- Take Dr. onoda. He is a great teacher. Not easy but gives you the info you will need to have a good basis for future classes. I have not taken the other classes, although Chamberlain does not take the chem 121 class. You have to take the 200 level class to transfer to Chamberlain. I have not used the tutoring however I have heard that they are very helpful.

How was the placement exam for you? I know I'm gonna ace the reading and writing portion but I'm studying for the math!! lbs. Was the math portion of the placement exam difficult?

I scored 97% on the Hesi A2 exam. I did not think any of it was that hard, however I am a clinical massage therapist and have a background in science. The math was easy...lots of conversions, ratios and proportions etc.

Cool! :-) So how are you doing at Chamberlain? How long do you have until you can take your NCLEX?

I'll second Dr. Onoda for Biology -- he knows how to highlight the important things that you need to retain after this course. Good sense of humor, too! Dr. Torralba for Chem 121 was great, too -- he's very kind and helpful outside of class hours.
