new RN moving to Chicago

  1. 0 Hi Everyone, I will grad this December with my RN, BSN and plan on moving to Chicago (currently in Nashville, TN)..I am ready to get out of the south for a while! My plan is to work at one of the U of C hospital clinics (as i don't like the inpatient setting at all) and beging my health systems management masters degree at Loyola next fall..was wondering if anyone has worked at one of the clinics before? or any suggestions about working in a Chicago clinic? How is it for a new RN in Chicago? i called U of C and was told that a new RN, BSN would make $22.28/hr at the hospital. thanks for your comments!
