Looking for an every third weekend hospital in Chicagoland...any out there?

  1. 0 Hey everyone! I currently work in Chicago and am looking for a position that requires every third weekend or once a month weekend in med/surg. Does that even exist? I was out at the Mayo Clinic's St. Mary's Hospital in Minnesota and the nurses there work every third weekend. I miss my weekends! On a side note? If you work 3 12-hour shift are you considered full time? And are you eligible for health insurance? I currently work 40 hrs a week and i'm looking to change all around! Thanks!!

yes you are considered full-time. A lot of hospitals have you work 7 12 hour shifts in 2 weeks which would put you just over 80 hours
