Thanks Tortiz, I couldnt take it anymore and I emailed Mary and asked nicely where I am in line to get into the evening program... I am actually #1 in line.. Sooooo... I feel relieved that I really did nothing wrong to prevent me from gettting in. Here is to keeping my fingers crossed, but also to just being proud that I did my best and it didn't go un noticed.. Pretty pathetic when my 14 and 11 year old daughters were comforting me through my tears that night.. Send good vibes my way and hopefully we will meet soon

i am sure there will be a spot open from now til the start of nxt semester! many times students apply to different schools and get accepted into both and opt for their first choice which might not be jjc if they get accepted into a 4 yr university! good luck!

Katie I will most def say a few prayers for you because you will be in the nights program with me and it would be great having such an awesome person in my group. If it is meant to be it will and we can only pray for you now. Last semester that is how a few got in. Fingers crossed, prayers and if not you have many classes to take. Good luck

I'm in the first semester now in the evening program, and 2 people in my clinical group were late admits into the program (they were notified just 1 week before the semester started), so keep your chin up, and you may very well be starting this spring.

I also do not have my CNA, so my schedule is like this:

    Monday

6:00 - 9:00pm - Nursing 140 (CNA class). This has already ended. It only lasted 6 weeks.

    Tuesday
    OFF

    Wednesday
    4:00 - 10:00pm - Clinical

    Thursday
    4:30 - 6:30pm - Nursing 140 (CNA class). Already ended.
6:30 - 8:30pm - Clinical Topics (We have now moved this class to go from 4:30 - 6:30pm)

    Friday
    4:00 - 6:00pm - Theory

Thank you Matka for posting evening times, I'm sure that really helps the incoming night students. Does anyone know though what a daytime schedule may look like? As always, rumors fly and go in so many different directions - I've heard you have to be at your clinical site at 6am. I'm sure this could pose childcare issues for people including myself, which needs to be figured out in the next month or two. Does anyone know if 6am clinical times is legit or is this a rumor like all the other stuff I've heard?
