Hospitals with good Neuro ICUs

U.S.A. Illinois

I'm moving to illinois next year. I've been working at a Neuro ICU for one year. I was wondering of there are any hospitals in the chicago area or it's suburbs with good Neuro ICUs. I would also like to know nurse to patient ration on such units, pay, and maybe cost og living.

My sister works in the SNICU at Christ hospital in Oak Lawn, which is a south suburb of chicago. She has been there for 15 years. The hospital is a major trauma hospital.

Specializes in Peds ED, Peds Stem Cell Transplant, Peds.

I heard Rush had a good Neuro program

Northwestern University Hospital. My friend had aneurysm surgery there. Here is a quote from their web site:

"The Neuro-ICU at Northwestern Memorial Hospital is a dedicated 23-bed unit with access to state-of-the-art monitoring equipment, a dedicated nursing staff, and a multidisciplinary resident team. Fellows are exposed to the diagnosis and management of patients with SAH, ICH, AVMs, spinal cord injury, neurotrauma, neuromuscular failure and status epilepticus in the ICU. "
