Edward Hospital, Naperville???

I have an interview at Edward hospital in Naperville this week, and I have gotten plenty of feedback of its good reputation from external sources but was curious if anyone had any internal info about what the hospital is like and what it has to offer it's employees/patients. Any info would be greatly appriciated. Thanks...kell

I've never worked there, but have friends who do. It is a well-regarded facility, and the nurses I know are happy. They are well-known for high-risk OB, peds, and cardiac care. Good luck!

Be proud of yourself! It's a hard place to get an interview, and very well regarded in the area. My friend had all three of her children there; has visited the ER there (of course, with three kids!) and has never once said a bad thing about the peds care.

When her mom was dying she wasn't too thrilled with the case management/hospice vent weaning practices, but I don't think anyone would be given those circumstances.

Good luck on your interview. Let us know how it turns out for you!

Yes that is a very good Hospital I live like a little less than a mile from there we go there all the time my niece got her tonsils taken out there a couple months ago, when ever someone in my house gets sick we go there. I think the people there are very friendly and helpful and it would be a great place to work at.

Update on my interview...I had a HR interview Tuesday(went pretty well i thought) and a second interview this morning with the unit manager.( not as smooth as the first interview) This was my first nursing interview ever and it was a little nerve wracking. After the fact I thought of things I should have said...Grr..... so fusterating, it's very hard because I was so nervous, my personlaity didn't have a chnace to shine through. I'll know by next Thursday if they are interested in me or not on that particular floor (Not looking hopeful at this point..... ) but then I can interview with different Unit managers if it falls through, keep your fingers crossed for me......Thanks
