Attn: Illinois Nurses

To all of the nurses that want to work for Christ hospital (which is part of the advocate system). They are now requiring all of their employed nurses who do not have their BSN to get it within 4yrs of hire. If you do not have it by then, you will be terminated. I found this information out through my mom who is an advocate employee.

As far as advocate's other hospitals (South Sububrban, Good samaritian, Good Shepard, and Trinity, they are not requiring this as of now.

For those of you thinking of going into nursing, please get your BSN, pretty soon an associates will mean nothing.
