Passed NCLEX..what now?

by Reese17

I would like to know when can I expect to receive my paper license or when will my name appear on the BON website? I took the NCLEX on Tue 10/27 & got my "unofficial" test results Thur 10/29. Also, can I apply for jobs now or do I wait until I get my licenses? Thanks in advance...

Hi there!

You can definitely start looking for jobs now. As long as you know you passed the NCLEX then you can fill out applications and just put "license number pending" to let them know that you only recently passed and therefore it'll take a minute before you receive your number.

Good Luck job hunting!!!

Thanks, NurseThis21! I'm in the process of writing my resume...its been over 10 years since I've been on a job interview and so I let my friend take a look at my old resume and she laughed saying it looked like it was in time warp! lol....
