Re: Chamberlain College of Nursing - Addison
Thank you so much for your lengthy response! It helped me immensely. You addressed a lot of things that I had questions about. I received my first bachlors degree accelerated and loved the pace but it was not a science degree so I worried that this would be ten times worse.
But one of the things that got me through the first undergrad program was that we had an amazing support system and smaller class sizes. If you needed help on a particular subject they provided tutors. Chamberlain sounds like they do this as well it sounds like to me they provide any tools needed to help a student make it and that means a lot to me when you are trying to succeed.
I looked into Rush as well and they have an accelerated Masters nursing program and it was almost $60,000 plus you had to have taken the GRE if you had a GPA of 3.0 or under, write like three papers, and get three letters of recommendation. It seems as if with Chamberlain things are pretty straightforward and to the point of what needs to be done to get in.
As far as those speed bumps there are many in life and I am so glad to see that you have been hurterling them and getting throught the program. Congratulation for the fantastic job that you are doing. Hopefully I will see you there this winter.
