CHT transitioning to LVN

Hi! I am a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist with nearly fifteen years experience in HBOT and Wound Care. I have recently obtained my LVN and am looking to get back into HBOT/Wound Care. I'm running into the problem of interviewing for LVN positions in an HBOT clinic where the management refuses to acknowledge my years of experience in HBOT/Wound Care and are only willing to offer me a starting wage of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. I was making $28.00 per hour as a tech. How do I parlay my years of experience into a higher paying position? Any ideas?
