    This is very useful. However I would be more interested in a way to put threads\posts into my favorites. There are some posts, like "best nursing ghost story" or "grossest thing you've ever seen" that I have saved in my AOL favorites, but it would be nice to put them on a favorite list on Allnurses. But again, thanks for continuing to make the site a better a easier place for us users.:heartbeat

    you could add any threads you are interested in or following to your subscription folder by clicking the keep me updated option on the first post of the thread, you will get option for email notification and after that you should be able to just click on subscribed threads in myaccount and once finished you can easily un-subscribe to them

    I subscribed to several forums into my favorites, however, today I received an email for each subscription telling me there were new posts. How do I turn notifications off for this feature? (p.s. I already know how to do the "no email notification" for individual thread subscriptions).

    Well, I noticed that a "note" is posted under the directions for adding favorites that reads: "NOTE: When adding a forum to your Favorites you will be updated on a daily basis via email."

    FYI for anyone that missed it, as I did.

    And as some constructive criticism for the web-site creator (Brian, I guess?), I will not be using the Favorites feature for forums until the "daily emails" are made optional. It's a neat feature, but I already have enough stuff clogging up my inbox...

    Daily email is an option.

    Go to, "My Account", found on yellow toolbar above.

    Click, "Edit Options".

    Scroll to, "Default Thread Subscription Mode".

    On the drop down menu, click, "Daily Email Notification".

    Then, scroll down and click, "Save Changes".
