personal identifying information as relates to my own school

    Hi,

I read the TOS and saw this, already in bold type and with italics on the page:

"Please do not give out personal identifying information about yourself or others. Do not name names where anyone could identify any person in any facility including your nursing programs or place of employment."

I'm starting school soon and I've started a thread about the school and named its name, as well as my start date. Since I am only one of about three guys in the class I would be easily identifiable to others in the class, which I don't mind. I started the thread because I saw many similar threads. If I violated the rules I apologize, but I wondered if there is a guideline you guys could give to clarify. Clearly the nursing schools forum is virtually useless without naming the names of schools, so I hope you can understand my confusion.

    Thanks,
    Tom

Naming schools is OK and we have many threads that do this what we do not allow is the naming of teachers/tutors etc.

If you are OK with putting your name to something that is ok just a lot of our members love to be anonymous on the site and try to do everything they can so people do not recognise them
