"Like" or "Dislike" add-ons

i really wish allnurses.com would incorporate a "like" or and "dislike" or format for the comments at a minimum.

so many times i have wanted to say , , or to a post or comment, but can't without adding a whole comment section. would be very innovative of your team to incorporate the 'ratings as smilies' for us.
i many times get bored and stop reading the last 10 pages of comments because so many posts say the same thing that clicking a would accomplish, but then fret about the one really good post i missed on page 14.

it could also help: if someone gets 26 , then they could rephrase or expound their question. just an idea (whose time has come )

I love it when members make suggestions. Great ideas are often found in the unexpected places.

I love this idea. However, it's not right for allnurses.com.

Our goal here is to create a positive atmosphere for everyone.

We try to stay away from anything "negative" ... anything that may make a visitor uncomfortable.

You may understand why you "dislike" something but the person reading or the person on the receiving end may not understand. They may be turned off or even hurt by the action.

We, at allnurses.com, will always lean towards anything "positive".

    I agree.
I see what appears to be contests to vote "up" or "down" on comments that follow newspaper articles. I like the positive tone of ALLNURSES.COM.
