what is this title?

  1. 0 could someone define the difference in a clinical manager, a patient care manager, a team leader and a director of nursing in regards to home hospice? Ive seen all of the terms used and i wonder what the difference in each/duties are or are the terms used interchangably? which is a higher level of responsibility?

    thank for your input!

The Director of Patient Care Services has overall responsibility for the nursing care provided by an agency, honcho nurse, so to speak. The other titles will have overlapping or identical duties depending upon the titles and job descriptions used by individual agencies.

In my area, Director of Nursing and Clinical manager are the same, and patient care manager and team leader are the same. Depends on the company as to what term they use.
