Morgan County, AL Hospice RN

have been working on a step down unit for about 6 months and I would like to move to hospice/home health after a year. I was wondering what are some experiences with the different agencies. Could I start prn after the first of the year and work my way into a job while still working at the hospital?

You could possibly do that. Hospices often have nurses who work "after hours" only....after 1700 etc. They also often employ per diem or contingent nurses who fill in on certain days of the week. There are also triage and oncall jobs that might be available. Start making some calls and find out what might be available. Good luck.
