Not necessarily books, but I would strongly recommend checking out the Hospice/Palliative Care Nurse Assoc. website. HPNA.org

There is a wealth of information, CEs, etc.

    All the best-

Ann, this is a great book. I'm still working on it. Received the call yesterday that I got the position. Any other suggestions? (I've been looking at the recommended website, too. Thanks

I would like to bump this topic up. I read Final Gifts. I was looking through the CE options on the HPNA web site, has anyone taken any of these and liked a particular one? Is membership worth it?

What exactly are you looking to educate yourself about? Are you new to hospice? Are you working in the field?

Personally, there is so much FREE information available. ...why pay?

I definitely wouldn't pay for membership unless I was working soley in hospice. As professionals, we really should be members of organizations representing our field so we can stay up to date on important issues..... if hospice is your speciality.

If you are just looking for good hospice information/ education. ..let me know and I will list a few excellent resource websites.
