Hospice IDG

Updated Jun 04, 2009 at 10:42 PM by nightingale305

My company is thinking about doing the IDG via phone conference. Has anyone out there done this and what are the regs regarding it. I am getting conflicting answers from the state auditors in Texas.

I just lost my comment to you in cyberspace. Anyway, I will have to research this although I cannot comprhend how this will be done and maintain confidentiality as well as being safe. I mean that if you were having a phone IDG while driving to a home it would not be safe and if you are in a patient's home it would not be confidential. How do they propose doing this? What is the reason behind the change? I'm not sure if it spelled out in the regs but I will look and get back at ya. Good luck.
