I'm concerned because my agency only has an after-hours nursing supervisor every other week. There's always an after-hours nurse available, but the supervisor is only available about half the time. Does anyone have any ideas about how to get this addressed, beyond my own department/company? As everyone is, they are in a money-conscious mode and don't want to spend the extra money to hire an appropriate supervisor to cover those extra hours. Are there regs that I can cite, specifically? Any help would be much appreciated!
