Hello. It greatly varies for salary, benefits, on call, etc with each agency...there are hospital based, private, non-profit, for profit...you get the picture, besides where you are located geographically makes a big difference too.You can read the thread "typical day of a HH nurse" and that will give you a good idea of what to expect. Personally, I make about what the local hospital nurses make ( without all the OT and shift diff pay) but the perks outweigh that. The independence, flexibility, one-on-one...I love HH and do not want to work in a facility again. I found my niche

Do not need to be home when they get home (DH works from home), but would like to be home earlier than 8pm each night. Not really sure about how HH RN's are pd, benefits.......any info would be great!
