Hey everybody, what do you all think? I'm working for a home health and hospice agency currently. I work 5 days a week and take call once weekly. There is another agency that is in the county beside mine that is home health only, pays more, its only 4 days a week, call is once every month, the productivity is lower per week and each visit is worth more points, and they pay more for mileage also. The only thing is I've been at my current job for a little under a year and I am trying to get pregnant. Would it be wiser to stay where I'm at or go ahead and jump ship? I have mixed feelings....any advice?

Well that's something that you're going to have to ask yourself. Do you want to put getting pregnant on hold for a couple months? Assuming that you'd want STD if the new company offers that, generally you have to be employed for 12 months before it'll pay. The 4 days a week may be good if you have another baby, one more day home. The increase in pay may be nice for the extra butt to diaper :)

Just make a list of pros and cons. Do you like hospice a lot? a little? You need to do whats best for your family.
