I worked for Nurse-Family Partnership for 6 1/2 years in Pennsylvania. I LOVED my job! Couldn't beat the hours and the opportunity to work independently. I had to leave because of pay issues. It's not the greatest paying nursing job but the payoff is worth it. In my case, my husband was laid off and I was forced to go back to the hospital to make more money. Currently, our nurses are NFP nurses are layed off until the state passes the budget but they are collecting unemployment and should return to work soon. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. BTW, NFP is based out of Denver, CO and that is where all the nurses go for their training!
