home health nursing in South CarolinaRegister Today!
- by ksmith9 Aug 29, '12Hello, I am a recent new LPN graduate and i would like to know if there is anyone that knows if home health agencies hire new grads in SC. I have prior CNA experience only. I know that most of the jobs i have applied for is asking for minimum of one year experience. Does that mean nursing experience of for the job you are applying for (such as LPN experience)? I am open to all comments. I am in the process of searching for a job and I am looking in all different areas, but I was wondering if i should even apply to home health agencies.

HH nurses work autonomously and are fully repoosnsible. when you graduate you have a clue about nursing but thats it. i strongly encourage you to put in a year or two at a skilled facility first. you will learn alot and be alot more prepared
