Re: home health books
If you have a laptop, I would pack that in your backpack or nursing bag. Internet access while you are in the home can come in handy. Of course, you need a drug book. It seems I have only needed drug info when I have not brought my book along. Besides that, I like this book: Manual of Home Health Standards: Quality, Documentation, and Reimbursement, by Tina M. Marrelli, ISBN 032305224X or 9780323052245. Another one you might find useful: Manual of Home Health Procedures, by Robyn Rice, ISBN 0801669464 or 9780801669460. There are others that you can find by searching amazon or half.com. Sometimes you can find these books in bookstores or at college bookstores and you can look at the book to see if you like it. HTH
